Start With Measurement, Not Design
The best-looking furniture can still become a problem if it blocks movement, does not pass through the door or leaves no space for cleaning. Measure wall length, available floor space, doorway width, stair access and the distance needed for drawers or storage lids to open properly.
For beds, compare mattress size and walking space. For sofas, check the distance from TV and center table. For office furniture, think about wires, files, staff movement and visitor seating.
